Rent Black & Tan Hall

Our space is a great fit for events of all kinds! Our ambiance is casual-yet-classy, sleek-yet-comfy, and decidedly unique.

 

We offer a total capacity of 150, with a seating capacity of 75, mostly with moveable chairs. Smaller events can be held comfortably in our front bar/cafe area. For larger events, in addition to the café/bar area, we offer booths and tables in front of the stage.

 

The dance floor is 20 x 30 feet, and our 10 x 20 foot stage is appointed with professional AV systems (specifications below).

Beverages & Grub

 

We can’t permit outside food and drink, with exceptions for special items such as cakes. For private events, guests can bring in beer, wine, seltzers, etc., but liquor must be served by a licensed vendor. For public/ticketed events, B&TH’s talented barkeeps must serve.

 

Accessibility

 

We have 2 ADA-accessible bathrooms in the front of the building, just off Rainier Ave South. Our main entrance is mid-block between South Orcas and South Findlay. The number 7 Metro bus stops at our location. Street parking is widely available.

 

Security

 

Some events may require our professional security and logistics staff, depending on crowd size, all ages shows, complex set-up, and alcohol service.
